Holy Scripture
God's Word read, preached, prayed, and received as the sure foundation of our life.

Saint Alban the Martyr is a church plant of The Church of the Advent, gathering in Seven Lakes for historic Christian worship, Holy Scripture, and the Sacraments.
Word & Sacrament
At Saint Alban, the Holy Scriptures are proclaimed, the ancient creeds are confessed, and Christ meets His people in the sacramental life of the Church. We are planted and supported by The Church of the Advent in Southern Pines.

Our Patron
Faithful unto death, a witness to courage, self-sacrificial love, and conversion.
Saint Alban is remembered as the first recorded Christian martyr of Britain, he is often called by the title the Protomartyr. According to the ancient account, he sheltered a Christian priest during a time of persecution, received the faith, and clothed himself in the priest's cloak to protect the priest of God. When brought before the authorities, Alban refused to deny Christ and gave his life in witness to the Gospel.
Under his patronage, this church plant seeks to offer that same courage and witness: a place where neighbors may encounter the ancient faith and be drawn more deeply into the life of Jesus Christ and His holy Catholic Church.
Worship at Saint Alban
Our common life is ordered around the worship of Almighty God. We receive the faith handed down through the ages in the reading of Holy Scripture, the prayers of the Church, and the Holy Eucharist.
